Despite this, it’s crucial to remember that “You can take control of your own body.” With balanced female hormones, you can remain healthy and attractive as you age. In fact, it’s not uncommon for women over 40 to look much younger or for younger men to pursue them romantically, even leading to marriage.

However, too much estrogen can lead to conditions like fibrocystic breast disease, so it’s important to maintain a balanced level of this hormone. When imbalanced, the body may signal distress (like lumps in the breasts), which shouldn’t be ignored.
What is Progesterone?
Progesterone, often called the “Mother Hormone,” plays a crucial role in preparing the uterus for pregnancy by thickening the uterine lining.
It helps create a soft, thick “bed” in the uterus for the fertilized egg to implant. If pregnancy doesn’t occur, this lining is shed during menstruation.
Progesterone dominance occurs just before and during menstruation, and this phase often causes symptoms such as bloating, breast tenderness, lower back pain, headaches, irritability, and dry skin.
While it may sound like a troublesome hormone, progesterone also works to protect the body by:

For that reason, I personally recommend belly dancing and hula dancing the most. Belly dancing is considered a sexy dance because of its movements that emphasize the feminine parts, but originally it is known as the “dance of the womb.” In other words, it is a dance for being a woman and protecting motherhood.
Manage stress
Stress is a major disruptor of hormone balance. Make time for relaxation, aromatherapy, meditation, or hobbies that help you unwind.
Foster positive touch
Physical contact releases oxytocin, a hormone that stabilizes emotions and encourages hormone production. Whether it’s from a partner, a pet, or friends and family, nurturing touch is vital for well-being.
